This morning Harvey and i headed to the UCI marketplace for our weekly farmers market trip, we got potatoes, aspargus, tangelos (they we so yummy the skin pealed off perfect last week we couldn’t resist them again), we also got tomatoes and avocados and pita and hummy, and strawberry rubharb cham, but our best find of the day were the amazing zucchini flowers we got. they were so big and beautiful we bought 10 for tonight’s dinner and daddy fried them up for us. MMMMMMMM they were so yummy here is the recipe we use and a few pictures for you to drewl over….
batter: 1 egg, 1 cup cold water, 1 cup flour… mix well, dip flowers in and fry
