Shirt made Dress

Back in june i decided to sew a tunic shirt i had a pattern for since last summer. I got out my fabric layed out my pattern and on No! the pattern didn’t fit! so off i went to the store to get a second yard of fabric. when i got to the store they didn’t have the same fabric that i had at home so i bought a different one, came home and got sewing all in time for my nephew’s birthday party. so i put it on and what do you know it was a dress!!!!

HAHA go figure i forgot to fold up the end to make it a tunic and not a dress. 🙂

well the fit was good and comfy so i wondered if i had enough in the first fabric to make it a shirt. so last week i got the fabric out, layed out my pattern, folded up the end this time! and was able to lay it just right on my fabric this time in order to sew what do you know….. a tunic!!!!DSC_0001 by you.

i really like this pattern, it fits pretty good and is super easy to make! i have one more dress planned for it, hopefully  will get it done before summer ends. to make this dress/tunic check out pattern – simplicity 2975
