Quick sewing projects!

This last week i have been all about quick, i love to sew but i just haven’t had much time for much of anything this last week. with a teething baby who doesn’t nap long i haven’t had much time to myself so i have jumped at the opportunity here and there my husband gave me to sew up some quick projects that needed my attention…..

The first was actually 2 projects (with the goal in mind of the end of august having all my fabric sewn so i can move on to new stuff) i took an hour to whip out two pillowcase skirts with some fabric i had gotten at jennys. (our local inexpensive fabric store) DSC_0426 by you.

the skirt on the left with the smaller flowers is definitely my fave, it fits the best of the one’s i have made so far. but the one other, the elastic is a little small. i am thinking of opening up the casing and refashioning it into this dress i had the idea for this week while shopping at Anthropologie, so we’ll see maybe next week you’ll see it up here again in a whole new light.

The next project was real quick it was a brand new table cloth! i love table linens, i don’t know why but i just love the look of a formal set table and the casualnesss of a casual table with a simple tablecloth. i fell in love with this fabric at the store last week and wasn’t sure what to do with it, so i bought two yards and thought hmmmm i could use a casual tablecloth! DSC_0420 by you.

i love it, it adds the perfect touch to our space.

Well those were my quick projects of the week. any suggestions on other quick projects I’d love to hear them!
