April Showers

Bring may flowers right? Well this April i will be showered with the gift of little time 🙂 with a new baby on his way here (any day actually) I am quickly remembering how precious the little bit of time i get to myself truly is. But non the less there are things that have been inspired to make and would like to complete this month before the new baby gets here….

First of all, My husband so kind wants to throw me a taste and meet baby shower (A Friend has offered to help, as have I becuase well its more for Mr. Levi then for myself) i would love to make some of these awesome candy dishes to go on the dessert table…

and i love this idea of the interchangable cake stand….

I have been saving fabric to make a quilt

Maybe i’ll throw in some vase updo’s for those may flowers that are to come…

I have some binder clips that are gonna get a new look and i think i’m gonna do some clothes pins while i’m at it…

And i think i’d like to try my hand at earings (now that i have become a necklace maker :). I’m loving these button ones i saw at U create and these ribbon ones from ruffles and stuff.

I’m also loving this tic-tac-toe board (maybe for the boys room, so they can start learning how to kick daddy’s butt! 🙂 )

and of course i want to make these flowers my girlfriend made which is so freakn cute in person!!! ( the picture doesn’t do it enough justice!) Her’s was out of a vintage napkin and over at ruffles and stuff there is a tutorial on how to do it out of a hanky.

Not sure yet how i would use this tutorial but if anyone uses dryer sheets his a great idea to reuse them

of course all month i will be stash busting so i’m sure a lot of this will have to wait as i dont think i have all the supplies on hand. but as you can see most of it is not sewing so if i don’t get to it this month they are pretty easy crafts to complete next month in between nursings/playtime much more easily than sewing projects.

Well for now i am off to sew a quick pair of PJ shorts out of a pillowcase!
